Head Injury Theater is an Art (or art) project of mine that sort of snowballed into weekly paintings, one-panel comics, and 300 hour Art challenges (as well as a few other non-Art related projects). I'm told it's pretty funny and a little bit bizarre. Almost the entire site is hand painted with acrylic/watercolors and it's always changing...so I guess it's experimental in that way. Except for the jokes. That's not quite as experimental, but I have some sort of diseased work ethic that keeps me trying new stuff. You know what? I'm terrible at describing my own stuff. Let s move on.

Favorite Comics/Webcomics :
All I can say is that Kevin O'Neill is, and has been, The Man since 1987. Shame on you for not knowing what I'm talking about. Oh and Morrison's Brotherhood of Dada was also something that I shouldn't have been reading when I was ten either. Again, shame on you.

Interests :
Dear Lord I love bad movies. I'm not talking about your typical "Oh My God look at the crap Hollywood put out this year with all the explosions and the nipples" kind of bad. I'm talking about a special brand of terrible you only find at the very bottom of a waste barrel full of old movies. A good example might be "Bloodsucking Pharaohs in Pittsburgh." There are no pharoahs in it, nor is there any bloodsucking. There is, of course, a lot of Pittsburgh in it. Go figure.

Jared lies that he’s from New York. Sure, he went to film school there, but he spent the first 19 years of his life in a humid mosquito-ridden town known as Jacksonville located in the South. Originally a philosophy major, Jared stumbled across the much more lucrative career path of Experimental Filmmaking. So lucrative, in fact, that he’s painting comics and other randomness online instead of having anything to do with said brand of filmmaking. Luckily for him, it turned out a fair amount of the public seem to like his little style of Art (which he’d been doing for years just for himself). He also likes speaking in the third person, apparently. Jared von Hindman currently resides in Berlin, Germany, where he lives with an older woman who pays all his bills. He's not joking."
