Today Eyeskream celebrate its third anniversary. And to commemorate this event Eyeskream invite every webcomic creators and also everyone that can draw to our “Eyeskream Magazine cover contest”. More detail will be available next month.

02-03-2007
Already February. You know what this mean right? Yes, this means that Eyeskream will celebrate its third anniversary this month. More on this next week.

In the meantime I invite you to submit your webcomics to us. Place begin to be limited since we are only at one member of a complete rooster of twenty members. You have up to the end of February to do so.

01-16-2007
Happy new year everyone! This year start particulary well with the addition of a new Eyeskream member. To make a long story short, there was an error in the last vote count total. Once corrected, this put the Joe! webcomic in the first place and Future Pig second. So we simply decide to add Joe! and keep Future Pig.

We are now 19 members. This mean that there is only ONE place left in our group. Next vote is slate for March. We await your submissions!

12-14-2006
We have our new member. Eyeskream is proud to have in their rank Pavel Lujardo and "Future Pig".

The next vote is slated for March. We will start fresh by deleting all the webcomic submission we receive this year.

12-01-2006
Already December! Christmas is coming soon and what a great month to elect a new member in our community. We will take the first week to reviews the 29 submissions that have been accepted and vote. So if all go well we should announce our new member around the weekend of 11 and 12 December. Good luck to everyone.

In 2007 we will start fresh and will delete all the submissions we receive in 2006. So if you are still interested in joining our community, you will be obligate to submit again.

10-19-2006
Have you notice something strange? I'm talking about our Eyeskream logo. Well Skreamie (yes our logo has a name) love Halloween, just like all of us. So we decide to costume him this month. Some of our talented Eyeskream members have create some amazing costume, enjoy!

10-02-2006
We have TWO winners. Paul and Travis Riddle. Congrats to both of you!

This month we have also a new panel of our Eyeskream joint venture, drawn by Matt White of GunBaby (Tarlickers).

We are still looking for new Eyeskream members. The next vote is for December. So if you are looking for a great webcomic community, just submit your webcomic. There is still 3 spots available and in December we will fill one.

09-10-2006
First I must announce our new Eyeskream member. Make place for Matt White and his wonderful webcomic “Tarlickers”. We are now 24 members in Eyeskream and this mean only one place left. You can continue sending your submission up to the 31 October, after that we will no longer take any webcomic submission. So in resume this is the last call.

Jack Delong of Samurai Pride have drawn our new “Sun Spot” panel. The story is almost at his end and with the powerful art of Jack, the characters have never seemed so real!

The “Webcomic of the Month” is our old timer, The Flying Ferret from Eyeskream co-founder Douglas Curtis. With the release of a new website, a new story and tons of new features, Flying Ferret has never been so much better! Go take a look to discover all the new things, you will be pleasantly surprise!

Remember our caption contest? Well the winner is Matt Simpson of Nuclear Powered Toaster. As a prize Matt has chosen a beautiful “Eyeskream Mug” and he will also receive a wonderful T-Shirt graciously from the creator of Crashlander, James Hutchinson. You can see all the entries here.

Last year Swap Day was so successful that we decide to do it again. For those who wonder what this is all about, each participating Eyeskream members will find themselves drawing a “guest comic” to other Eyeskream members. The catch? Nobody will know who is drawing for their comic! The comics will be shuffled and everyone will be surprised. And you the fans will have your part to play in this. Do you think you can "guess" who will draw the comics? By doing so you could win a fabulous "commissioned drawing".

Look for the Swap II banner on the various Eyeskream members website to see who participate, and came back here the 25 September to enter the contest.

08-07-2006
Sorry for the late update! Be sure to take a look at our new “Webcomic of the Month” that feature “Suspicious Minds” from Michael Gregory.

Also the place available in Eyeskream is getting rarer, only two place left. You have up to the 31 August to sent your webcomic submission. The Eyeskream members will take the month of September to review all the submissions and vote. After that only one place will be open in Eyeskream. Good luck!

In September one of our most popular “event” will be back. It’s the “Swap Day” event where each participating artist of Eyeskream drawn secretly another Eyeskream webcomic and you must guess WHO the new artist is?

So in the mean time and to help you wait, I decide to make a simple little contest. It's a simple, fill-in-the-bubble joke contest open to anyone. And the winner will have the opportunity to choose one item of his choice in the Eyeskream shop. All you have to do is go to the Eyeskream forum and participate. All the details are there. Just click HERE.

07-04-2006
So what do you think of our little “Flash Intro”? And what about the new flash menu. This is only two of the minor change we have done to the Eyeskream website this month.

All this was possible because of our newly Eyeskream collaborator. His name is Tommy King and from now on Tommy will join Eyeskream as our Flash Tech specialist. A new section on the Eyeskream public forum have been created where Tommy will do his best to answer all your questions concerning “Flash” while posting tutorials and giving tips.

You can now “Advertise” on Eyeskream for FREE! Simply click on the banners to your left for more details.

We are still accepting webcomic submission. We only need two other members to complete our rooster. The next vote will be held in September. So if you are looking for a friendly and serious webcomics group, we are waiting for you. Don’t forget to come say hello on the forum and introduce yourself. Just hit the submission button to your left.

And don’t forget to take a look at "Strange Fiction" that is our “Webcomic of the Month”. You have never read something like this one!

06-12-2006
The vote for our new Eyeskream members of June is closed. I want to welcome in our rank :

- Suspicious Minds by Michael Gregory
- Strange Fiction by Lady Attercop
- Samurai Pride by Jack DeLong

The next votes to elect new members will be held in September and the last one in December. After that our rooster will be full. You can submit your webcomic here.

06-06-2006
We are currently in the voting process to elect our three new Eyeskream members. The members have up to the 11 of June to send in their votes. Good luck to all the one that have submit.

05-28-2006
A quick reminder to tell you that you have less than three days (up to the 31 May) to sent your webcomics submissions to Eyeskream. We will take the full month of June to elect three new members. After that in July we will again accept new submissions for our last two places in our group.

05-05-2006
What do we have this month? Well we have our new “Webcomic of the Month”, we also have a new “Joint Venture” panel done by Ross Curtis and I want to remember you that you have up to May 31 to send your webcomics submissions.

The places available in Eyeskream are getting fewer. We are currently 20 members and next month in June we will elect 3 new members to join our ranks. So this will leave only 2 places to be filled in Eyeskream. So you better hurry and submit your webcomics!

04-27-2006

Here's our four winners and the prizes they have choosen:

#1 - Jared Hindman (Eyeskream member pass)
#2 - Eric Nault (Wacom tablet)
#3 - Andrew Power (Zoinks Magazine subscrition)
     #4 - John Daiker (Eyeskream T-Shirt)

Congratulation to all the winners. You can still see all the contest entries here.

04-11-2006
So our second contest is closed. With the rate of participation I got, we can say that each contestant have a chance of 45% to win a prize! So if you have sent something, I am happy for you. I really wonder what it takes to interest peoples these days? Was it the prices that were not good enough? Or maybe what I was asking was too much? I sincerely don’t know. But one thing I can say for sure is that I receive many submissions of high qualities. The winners will be announced next week. Thanks!

04-06-2006
Did you know that my birthday is tomorrow? What this mean? Simply that you have ONLY three days left to submit your drawing for the Eyeskream second anniversary contest.

BTW we are still taking webcomics submissions. Our next vote is for June so you have up to the end of May to send your submission. We are currently 20 members so this leave only 4 spots open. One is reserve for the contest.

I say 20 members because Jake Tjorhom of “Game Over” is leaving. He simply decide to stop making his webcomics and want to pursue others avenue. We wish him good luck!

03-21-2006
Just a quick reminder to tell you  that our contest limit date is the first April. We have over 200$ worth of prizes to give so be sure to take a look and partcipate!

03-13-2006

The voting for our new members of March is done and we have three new webcomics in our rank. Say a big welcome to:

- Lee Swain & Dan Liles of Flat Life
- Jeff Mumm of Obscured by Species
- Adam Marien of Mulberry Gallows P.

Eyeskream have recently decided to take a maximum of 25 webcomics creators in his community. We are actually 21 members so this leaves 4 places. One of them is already reserved as a prize for our Eyeskream second anniversary contest. And the other three will be voted as our regular new members schedule for June, September and December.

03-02-2006

Lots of news! Eyeskream have never been so more active. We are ready to elect our future member of March. All future submissions will only be considered for the next vote of June. In two months we have receive over 25 submissions, all better the one than the others. And funny enough, I want to point out the number 25 here.

The Eyeskream community has agreed to take a maximum of 25 members in his rank. Right now we are 18. Sarah Zero, one of our first members just decides to quit the group. This will make a new spot to be filled. Along this one, we have already 2 spot to be filled also. So this means that we will not take 1 but 3 new members. Why 3 and not 4 you ask, simply because one of these spot is reserved as a prize for our Eyeskream second anniversary contest.

Speaking of our contest, don’t forget that you have up to the 1 April to submit your strip and get the chance to win a fabulous Wacom Tablet. All the information can be found here and you can always email me at erik@eyeskream.com if you have any more questions.

In others news, Frozen Bagel Warfare is no more. Josh Welling, the creator of this incredible and crazy webcomic decide to pass to others thing. But don’t worries because Josh has not gone too far, he is still with Eyeskream but with a new webcomic name “The Pill and the Pear”. If you loved FBW, you will love P&P.

Eyeskream have now a new “member logo”. In the week that will follow, each member will replace the old one for the new logo. That way, Eyeskream will finally see some “unity” and only the Eyeskream member have the right to display this logo on their website.

You can finally have in your own hand the wonderful world of Boot_Error. Ivan Pope has just release volume 1 of his Boot_Error webcomic. The book got 102 strips with an exclusive 12 strip storyline. This is 82 pages of fun and in full bright colors! You can order yours at lulu or simply click the image for more information. I sure will order one!

02-05-2006
The new edition of Zoinks Magazine have an interview with the Eyeskream manager, well that's me. Maybe you will learn a thing or two just like I did!

02-03-2006
The beginning of 2006 marks the departure of several members. After having discussed with many members of our community about the future of Eyeskream and their participation, some have decided to leave. Many have come to the conclusion that it was best to give their place to others webcomic creators that would have more time to fulfill a membership in a webcomic community such as our. So I say goodbye and best of luck to “Spooked”, “Canadaman” and “Car VS Motorcycle”.

Spooked” will not be replace because he already was by Fodi in February 2005. So this makes 2 new available spot to fill. One is already reserved for another special occasion. As for the other, when we will elect our new member of March, instead of taking only one new member we will take two.

The 10 February is approaching fast and to date we got several great webcomic from female creator submissions for our special St-Valentine’s day Eyeskream membership. Only 6 days left ladies!

Not to long ago I make a cameo in the wonderful webcomic “Pc Weenies”. This week I am join by others Eyeskream characters. This is an official milestone for The PC Weenies: this is the first time other webcomic characters have appeared within a PC Weenies toon. And for the occasion, PC Weenies’ creator Krishna decides to run a little contest where you could win a special Sketch and a one year subscription to Zoinks Magazine. More info on the PC Weenies website.

01-03-2006
I'm sure that 2006 will be a good year for Eyeskream. We have tons of projects, contests and special events. But more on this later.

You can now send your webcomic submission. We have deleted all the previous one so for those that have submit their webcomic in 2005, if you are still interested to be a part of this great community, you must submit again. Normally we take a new member in March, but since we have one spot to fill due to the departure of "Simulated Comic Product" we will take this opportunity to make something different.

The 14 February is a special date. This is the
St-Valentine’s day and on this day we will announce the new Eyeskream member that will replace SCP. This member will be special because we will choose and vote for a webcomic that is done by a woman only. So if you are a woman, have a webcomic and would like to be in a webcomic group, you have up to the 10 February to send your submission. And if you are not chosen, we will keep your submission all year for the others Eyeskream available places. And don’t worries guys, you can still submit your webcomic to us, but they will be only considered for the March spot.

12-20-2005
Say a big welcome to our new and last member of the year, James Hutchinson, James is the creator of the wonderful webcomic “Crashlander”. This is a great addition to Eyeskream and I invite you all to go take a look at James' webcomic.

In 2006 we will begin to accept new webcomic submissions again. All the ones received previously have been deleted so that we can start anew.

In my name and in the name of all the Eyeskream Webcomics Creators Members, I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

12-05-2005

Eyeskream will be offline the 2 December. Our account is migrating to a more powerful server. So that mean that beginning this friday morning (2 December) the change will occur and the DNS will take from 24 to 48 hours to adjust itself. This mean also that all webcomic hosted by Eyeskream will be offline. Sorry about that.

On a less technical news, we have three new members. They will replace our three empty spot. Say a big welcome to "My Nemesis" , "Pinch of the Glass" and "Fat Cat Online".

Lots of news today! First of all the first Eyeskream contest is closed. I got a total of 7 submissions and I want to thank all the members that have participated. Unfortunately the rate of participation was too low and we didn’t meet the 8 submissions request I have ask for the contest to have place. But since I am such a nice guy and most of all because the participants have work so hard on their submission I decide nevertheless to run the contest. There will also be a prize but it will not be the same. The prize will be a 50$ worth of RPG merchandises. The vote to determine our winner will begin next week.

We have two others members that are leaving Eyeskream. Commissioned and AT-Comics leave there place to others webcomics creators with a better sense of participation, sharing, group cooperation and community behavior. We wish both webcomic good luck and it was an honor to have them, even shortly in our group. That’s make 2 new spot to filled plus a new open spot for the month of March. So don’t be shy and send your webcomic submissions. With 3 places to fill you have a good chance of being accepted?

Welcome to the new Eyeskream website.

Today marks the first anniversary of Eyeskream. And to celebrate this event, we are running our first "Contest" open only to the Eyeskream webcomic members. But don't worry folks, you readers will have a say, too. Each member that participates will have to submit a webcomic strip featuring our lovely eye logo in it's own adventure. The winner will be determinated by you, the reader. And the prize of this contest will be a fabulous "e3Works Stylo 4x5 Graphics Tablet" or a wonderful "Canon LIDE35 Scanner". Both valued around $125 (Canadian, not US. I'm not that crazy) each!

The participants have
one month to submit their concept and for the contest to have place, a minimum of 8 participants will be require.

Once I have received all submissions, the readers (you) will vote for the concept you like the most. Depending on the number of participants, the contestants will be divided into two groups, and then the winners of those two groups will be pitted against one another in a DEATHMATCH... I mean, a final vote will be taken to determine the winner.

I never think that one day I would be a victim of my success. In the last two months we got 6 new webcomic creators to join  Eyeskream. And there will be two others soon. Since December Eyeskream has more than doubled it's number of webcomics. So I must stop taking new webcomic submission for a time. We must take the time to get used to our new members and also establish some interaction among our ranks prior to having new blood. I will nevertheless accept new webcomic submission and when the time will be right, I will email the new Eyeskream members. On the 9 February, Eyeskream will celebrate it's first year. There will be a contest offer to the Eyeskream members only. More on this soon. Welcome to our 3 new webcomic, "White hot Lightning Masters", "Chooken" and "Work Sucks".
