Like the title of this week’s Strange Fiction says, it’s that time of year!

It’s October, and as far as I’m concerned that means it’s Halloween ALL MONTH LONG. From now until the end of the month, every week there will be a new hidden Halloween page on the site with a special goody for all you grown up trick-or-treaters. I won’t ruin the surprise for any new readers, but the long timers know what to expect: pure, unfiltered dorkiness.

As yet another part of the All Hallow’s Orgy, I have a new blog titled A Bat-a-Day which I will update daily throughout October with (wait for it) a bat-a-day. (As it stands, plans are for the bats to all be handmade. We’ll see how that goes as the month progresses.)

Also in the works: Halloween desktops, icons, banners and… a pin up? Keep your eyes on the site, kids!

Skreamie is back!

Skreamie back from vacation

Well Skreamie is back and so am I.

Our vacation took a little longer, sorry about that. But I got lots of good news for you.

Next week we will vote for accepting new members in our rank. We receive many good and great webcomic submissions. Expect some old members to take their leaves from Eyeskream and thus make some place for new blood.

Our mascot Skreamie will finally star in his own monthly webcomic strip. You can already see above what he will look likes, courtesy of our new artist Nathan Burgess. Nathan is a young new artist and you can see more of him on his own webcomic name “Gamer Candy”. The Skreamie strip will be written mostly by me with the help of the Eyeskream members. The strip will deal with the current day to day basis of running a webcomic group. This will be fun. Expect to see the first strip by the end of next month.

This is not all. We are preparing the Eyeskream fifth anniversary in February. Expect something big! We will also have next month our Eyeskream Comic Swap IV and probably some others things by the end of the year.

And don’t forget, eyeskream.com is the official place for Eyeskream news. Some come back later for more.

Remember the Eyeskream Comic Swap III?

No? Well pretend you do!  For reasons still completely unknown, the winner Tim wanted to forgo an original piece of art from yours truly opting instead to get tortured in Strange Fiction.  Now, almost a year later, I finally managed to get the prize together and Tim makes his SF debut thanks to a convenient story line an an Ed Wood knock off!

And the updates don’t stop there, ladies and gents.  I know that up until this point, your Fridays have sucked.  Sure, they’re the start to the weekend, but somehow they just felt empty.  I know they have.   Fret no more! I have the solution to your Friday frustrations: What the F**K Fridays!
