Favorite Comics/Webcomics :
Outside of Eyeskream:
Captain Ribman for a while. But my favorite
printed comics were: Hulk, X-Men, Superman, Spider-Man, and the one
comic that was most influential on me (I don't know why) was Space
Adventures which featured Captain Atom. And, many, many more.

Interests :
Sci-Fi films, drawing, writing, reading when I can, Star Wars (the
old trilogy), and arguing how bad the Prequels are in comparison to
the old ones---but it's all okay. I'm mellowed out about it now. |

Bio :
I blame my "drawing talent" on my dad. Not because I inherited it
from him or that he could draw, but because when I was about six, I
asked him to draw me a man, and he took the paper from me, scratched
something out with the pencil and handed it back. It was a stick
person, and I said, "No, a real person!" He told me to draw it, and
wouldn't you know, I kept trying! I kept drawing! So, thanks dad!
Anyway, I drew all kinds of homemade comic books, and when my
brother Ross was old enough to, he joined me in drawing. I hope I
didn't warp him too much, but we made a lot of great mini-comics, so
which we still have! I went to college a couple years longer than I
should've and didn't even graduate. I went to the cities, hooked up
with a girl I had a crush on since second grade, and now we're
married with three beautiful girls (plus her son from her first
marriage). I drew caricatures for a big local amusement park, and it
was a wonderful learning experiment, pulled me out of my shell and
gave me a lot more confidence. I then drew some comics for Kenzer's
Knights of the Dinner Table, as well as a lot of illustrations for
their Hackmaster product, and that's how I met Erik, and he was kind
enough to give me space for The Flying Ferret (rescuing it from that
hole Geocities.com). Now in addition to FF, I draw a cartoon, True
North, for a local newsletter. I'm going to submit it to the cartoon
syndicates and see what happens. |
