Samurai Pride takes place 3000 years from the present day, Mankind has been extinct for 2500 years. We have been replaced by our creations, what I call "Animons" These Animons are the descendants of the animals that had been genetically altered to exhibit human like physiology and behavioral traits, including rational thought and problem solving. Engineered for combat, these creatures rebelled against the cruelty of their creators and effectively drove the humans to extinction. The world is now populated by several sentient Animon races including: Rats, Cats, Wolv, Dogs, Mice.

The main characters are a Pride of Cats that have adopted the ancient bushido code as their way. And they travel the lands of Amera serving Kings and commoners by helping to keep the peace, and capture fugitives. Lately though they have been spending most of their time up to their necks against the Rat horde, led by the Rat King Graver who desires to fulfill an ancient hatred against Cats by wiping them (and any who would side with them) from the face of the earth.

As far as print comics, when I was younger I was always a big Marvel fan. Spiderman, Captain America, Fantastic Four, Ghost Rider, Luke Cage, Xmen, Nova, heck even ROM Spaceknight! Later, I found Cerberus, Elfquest, Conan, and Heavy Metal. My favorite Webcomics include: Inverloch, No Need for Bushido, Pride of Life, Suspicious minds, Who Girl, Flipside, Cy-boar, War of Winds and Tarlickers. (just to name a few) .

Interests :
Reading & Writing comics. Mountain Biking. I don't ride as much as I want to though. 3D Graphics - I use Lightwave 3D. CG Movies - Big Pixar fan. Though Disney's Chicken Little was pretty good too! Sci-fi - Huge Star Wars fan. I think my biggest disappointment with the new trilogy was that we didn't get to see Vader fight Obi AS VADER. No Iron mask, no menacing breath, no flowing black cape...not until the end and then all we get to see him do is mash the holy lubricant out of a few med-droids??? We don't even get to see Vader with his Lightsaber for crying out loud!

Bio :
I've always had an interest in art and comics. But it really kicked into high gear back in 1977 after the release of Star Wars. That movie blew my mind and sparked my imagination so completely that I've been an artist ever since! I have been "cooking up" this story for many years. But it really began when I started writing a story called 'Forever Ago ©" which became the history upon which I'm building Samurai Pride. Way back in the day, I actually did a "printed" (ie xerox press) comic called Rabbat. It was about a comic nerd / Librarians assistant named Melvin O'hare. He was a Rabbit that wanted to make a difference, so he dressed up like a superhero and "went off into the night" I did two issues, one complete story. I had issue 2 in a local comic store for a while, and sold like, 3. Ha! Anyway I learned alot from the creative effort and always had an itch to do another one. Then one fateful day I discovered webcomics and Eyeskream and knew I'd found my niche!
